Gone are the days, when only mom was to handle all the parenting kind of stuff. Dads are equally involved.
My husband and I form a perfect pair to handle our kids. Ok, let me clear this. Don’t misunderstand us as the perfect parents. We are bad. We are evil. And we are proud, we do it as a team.
Instead of getting offended by others teasing our kids, we ourselves tease our kids now and then. Especially our elder one Ishaan, who is 9 years old. We make plans together, we support each other when one of us starts teasing. And when we do so, we give a clap and say, “Good Parenting”.
Ishaan gets so irritated by us when we do so. The devil inside us grows bigger. When we want to watch web series or movies or stand up comedies, we make lame bahanas, we lie, to keep him outside the room, and then we do the Good Parenting clap. He haa haa.
We often use our clap at times when we want to wake him up for school, solve fights with his younger brother, convince him for something of our benefit.
